My client school is a very popular 2 form entry Primary school based away from the main high streets in Hounslow. The Head teacher would like to appoint an experienced PE teacher on a full time / permanent basis from September 2016.
The role will include leading PE across the school and you will need to be comfortable planning and delivering high quality PE lessons for children in Nursery right through to Year 6. The school is based on a large site with a large school hall for indoor PE and large outdoor area for sports and games.
The school encourage all children to take part in Physical Education and children thoroughly enjoy their lessons. There is a full range of Sports activities currently available for children to join in including Football, Netball, Hockey and Badminton. The Headteacher is keen to appoint a teacher who can take the current PE curriculum to the next level and is happy to support a passionate PE teacher to build on or develop new afterschool activities of their choosing.
The school has a recent “Outstanding” OFSTED grading and you will have the opportunity to work with highly effective teaching staff and well behaved children who are keen to learn. The school has an excellent reputation for great academic results and all staff receives regular targeted CPD to ensure that they have the tools they need to teach to a high standard.
The role would suit a PE teacher with previous experience working in a Primary school setting. The Ideal candidate will be a strong role model and sports enthusiast who can really get children interest in taking part in Physical Education. It is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status to be considered for this role.
Interviews will be arranged for early May with the successful candidate joining the team from September 2016. It is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to be considered for this role.
