As part of a world leader in design, production and distribution of construction materials, our client are the UK’s leading provider of glass and glazing solutions to the architectural, construction, building maintenance, door and window and insurance repair sectors. With a British heritage stretching back 150 years, their unique capabilities span the entire glass and glazing supply chain.
They are currently looking to recruit a Field Based Business Development Consultant to drive their product and services sales across the Distribution network, visiting and converting qualified sales leads to the eCommerce supply channel.
You will be a business “Champion” of eCommerce, supporting all channels of the Distribution business in communicating and advocating the features and benefits of the eCommerce channel to both customers and colleagues. Proactively pushing and marketing the eCommerce tool in the non-glazing sectors, you will visit qualified business leads in order to convert to online customers, whilst developing compelling solution-orientated arguments to win new business.
With proven capabilities in lead conversion and account opening, you will have experience of selling a wide range of complex products and solutions to a diverse range of customers, having the ability to adapt style and negotiate from lowest to most senior level. You will have the capability of meeting and exceeding targets, specifically new business and will show tenacity in rising to obstacles and difficulties encountered. With a good standard of education and the ability to understand and communicate verbal and written information, you will have excellent IT Skills and strong numeracy skills coupled with a working knowledge of CRM.
