Your new role
You will be based in their Gloucester centre and this is a full-time, permanent position to start as soon as possible but MPCT will consider a September 2016 start for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Department to work in a completely different learning environment. You will be responsible for the progress and success of the GCSE curriculum whilst working collaboratively with tutors and young learners who are preparing for a life within the military.

You will combine excellent organisational and management skills with a clear vision and the ability to lead, inspire and challenge teachers and learners to achieve the highest possible results.
You will have evidence of being an outstanding teacher of your subject and would have significantly contributed to the work of a successful department. Experience of taking on additional responsibility with your department will be desirable as well experience of leading the planning and implementation of a curriculum initiative.
What you’ll get in return
You will get the opportunity to work with young learners who are preparing for a life within the British Armed Forces and as an Ofsted Grade 1 provider you can rest assured in the knowledge that their students will be of an ‘Outstanding’ calibre. Whilst you are in the process of looking to secure your next permanent position you will benefit from clear, supportive and honest career advice. You will receive advice and guidance from a dedicated consultant who works to find you the best possible role and outcomes.
