Salary: £29,800 – £33,860 per annum
Join one of the world’s top medical schools as Student Services Administrator, supporting the experience and welfare of tomorrow’s doctors.
Imperial College London’s Faculty of Medicine is one of the world’s top medical schools at one of the world’s most-respected universities. At the forefront of medical education, your work here will help create the next generation of doctors and scientists—benefiting patients and populations globally.
As Student Services Administrator you’ll be responsible for administering the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of our student support systems. You’ll also support the Student Services Officer in identifying, planning and implementing opportunities for improvement of existing administrative mechanisms, developing solutions and implementing approved changes.
Working closely with senior administrators and academics, you’ll ensure that students are well supported, providing high quality, timely information and responding to queries in a professional but approachable manner. You’ll also support activities across the Student Services Team and liaise closely with the Programme Team in relation to student support, including educational initiatives and the development and review of support mechanism, policies and processes to improve student experience.
You must be educated to A Level or equivalent, have a high level of computer literacy, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Whilst experience of working in higher education is welcome, we are more interested in your skills and attitudes. Experience in a customer-focused environment would be desirable.
You’ll be based in the Faculty Education Office, supporting academics and clinicians to deliver an outstanding medical and biosciences education. We coordinate the student journey from admission to graduation, providing first-line services to students, supporting strategy and policy development, financial management, communications, governance and quality.
