We are looking for an exceptional Senior Partnerships Officer to join a highly successful team and deliver high-quality applications for trust donors for over 5 and 6 figures. This is for a forward thinking National health charity in East London.

Reporting to the Senior Trust and Statutory Manager, you will have overall responsibility for identifying and securing funding for the charities work from trusts and foundations, as well as growing income from corporate foundations. This will involve completing high quality applications and producing reports and other communications for funders.
The Trusts and Statutory team is headed up by the Senior Trusts and Statutory Manager, 2x Senior Partnerships Officers and a Partnerships Fundraising Officer. Last year the Trusts and Statutory team was responsible for an income of about £11 million.
Create a monthly work-plan for Trusts and Foundations who are able to give over £25,000 to meet annual income targets
Submit several high-quality applications for larger sized restricted donations for over 5 and 6 figures, including multi-year proposals that contribute towards the fundraising target (budget-relieving).
Experience of successfully fundraising from trusts and foundations and a proven track record in successfully generating income for budget relief and priority projects from grants over £25k.
Experience of contributing towards multi-million fundraising targets and KPIs.
Demonstrable experience of writing high quality funding applications and reports without supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, including the ability to deal with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
Excellent written English and a keen attention to detail, with experience of communicating complex ideas, tailoring tone and content to the funders and stakeholders.
Experience of cultivating new funders, and building and maintaining relationships with new and existing funders through an effective relationship approach to fundraising.
Demonstrable experience of researching and developing targeted proposals for presentation to prospective funders, using a range of sources.
Experience of managing budgets including forecasting, monitoring and regular reporting of outcome against target.
